Whether your goal is weight loss, fitness or toning up  you know it is easy to start but challenging to keep going.  Plus as you get older, it just seems to get tougher to maintain your fitness and weight. You know you want to be fitter and healthier but find it hard to do it on your own.

This is where I come in! I am super passionate about inspiring and motivating women over 40 to reach their fitness goals – whatever they may be.  I meet so many women who say ‘I wish I could…’ or ‘If only I was younger…’ or ‘It was much easier then to…’

I want you know that nothing is impossible AND… it is never too late! I took up body boarding at 50 and mountain biking at 51!  I’ll help you get clarity on your fitness goals and my personal training will support you every step of the way to achieve them!  What is it you always thought you would love to do? – run a 5km, bike the Ring of Kerry, tone up and feel fit and strong, do a pull up…whatever it is I’ll help you get there.

My Personalised Fitness Package is a 9 week program that is designed just for you.  It includes:

  • An initial consultation to get clarity on your goals, take baseline measures and agree a program

  • 8 Personal Training 1-1 sessions in An Riocht gym, Castleisland (Monday mornings, 4 times slots available)

  • An 8 week home based online strength program (Two sessions a week)

  • Unlimited motivation and support

  • Ongoing accountability – no hiding or dropping off!

  • Access to a wealth of health and fitness info

About Ailis

Dr. Ailis Brosnan is a plant-based wellness expert who has over 25 years experience helping busy women create healthier lifestyles so they feel confident, energised and engage more fully in life.

She has three degrees in the health and fitness field including a first-class honours degree in Sport Science, a Master’s degree in Health Promotion and a Doctorate degree in Health Psychology.

She also has numerous certifications such as Personal Trainer, Strength and Conditioning Coach, Plant-based Nutrition, Weight Management Consultant and Living Foods instructor.

Fitness is Ailis’ main passion and she has competed successfully at national level in athletics and has been selected to represent Ireland in both Mountain Running and Triathlon.

She loves being active in the outdoors and setting challenges for herself such as completing an Ironman Triathlon, swimming around Garnish island twice, cycling from one end of Ireland to the other, running up and down Carrauntohill and swimming 8km from Blenerville to Fenit.

When does the personal training program start and finish?

The program runs over 9 weeks and starts on Monday 9th January and runs until Sunday 12th March! But really it never ends as this is a lifestyle change that is going to stay with you forever!

This program involves:

  • An initial consultation on Monday January 9th in An Riocht, Castleisland
  • Eight 45 minute 1-1 coaching sessions on Mondays in An Riocht Gym
    • PT Session 1 – Jan 16th
    • PT Session 2 – Jan 23rd
    • PT Session 3 – Jan 30th
    • PT Session 4 – Feb 6th
    • PT Session 5 – Feb 13th
    • PT Session 6 – Feb 20th
    • PT Session 7 – Feb 27th
    • PT Session 8 – Mar 6th
  • Time slots available Monday mornings: 9:15am; 10:15am; 11:15am; 12:30pm; 1:30pm (you will have the same time slot each week)
  • An 8 week online strength training program – two 30 minutes sessions a week (ideally Wednesday and Friday but this is flexible)
  • Tons of support and motivation during the 9 week program.

How long do I have access to the online part of the program?

How does lifetime access sound? After enrolling, you have unlimited access to the online BE STRONG course for as long as you like – across any and all devices you own. Plus you can access any new materials I may add at no extra cost.

I am totally unfit - will I be able to do this program?

Yes, this is suitable for any fitness level and any age. Your starting point doesn’t matter – what does is your end point!  I will guide and support you to get where you want to.

What benefits can I get from this personal training program?

So many!!!  For me the greatest benefits from being active are the mental health benefits – the feel good factor, the self-confidence, the feeling of knowing I am a strong woman.  But there’s lots more…
