Feeling very proud of myself for making this No.1 to do on my list today, amazing how I just starting this running just over week ago in beach and two people have already commented on how fit I look lost 4lbs alone in one week so I am over the moon. Thanks Ailis Brosnan and everyone for your encouragement it means a lot. I always dreamed of getting out there jogging but hated idea of running on roads and cannot do cause my feet are so bad. I am just trilled to be this far….onwards and upwards.
I found the program so beneficial and Ailis great . She was always available to answer any questions and also to give me the support I needed when I needed it. I have changed my eating habits and have gone from being an emotional eater to a very mindful eater. Listening to the audios has kept me focused and helped to keep me feeling positive throughout the 8 weeks. I loved being part of the Facebook group and never felt that I was going it alone. The exercise builds up over the weeks so was not too daunting for a beginner like me The recipes are tasty and I found them quick and easy to prepare. We invited Ailís to do an online healthy Food Demo for our students as part of our school’s Wellbeing Awareness programme during the lockdown of 2021. Ailís is a real professional and so easy to work with. From the moment we suggested it, she happily came on board, was generous with her time and worked with us to produce a very happy and healthy event. I am constantly astonished at this new situation and new me. I find myself smiling as I walk along and ponder it all. A year ago, when I emailed you first I was barely able to walk at all with the injury in my feet, had put on weight and was feeling very negative about my body and myself and a hundred other negative knock-ons. After the detox my joint pain almost disappeared. And at the end of the eight weeks, I had lost a few more pounds and had become comfortable with a more vigorous exercise routine. The programme supported my journey by helping me organise a schedule and healthy food menu. Also the exercise routines were easy to follow and the online video tutorials were excellent. My journey through the programme helped me to reach my objectives and I am still appreciating the rewards. Getting my family involved has taught us all to appreciate healthy eating and exercise. The benefits of which will be lifelong.
People I haven’t seen in a while are commenting on how much weight I have lost and how much happier and healthier I look.

Before I started this programme I was desperately unhealthy. Morbidly obese, a smoker and generally didn’t care about myself. What I’ve found is a love and respect for my body. I’ve finally stopped punishing it and started nourishing it. My body has begun to thank me and change in response. This programme has really changed my life for the better. It gave me the tools and the support to care about myself again.

A weekend filled with food, laughter and craic. All the activities were well spaced, we were both challenged and got a chance to chill out. Louise, Ailis and Bernard couldn’t be nicer or more welcoming. Thank you for providing a great opportunity to get out of our comfort zones, while feeling very comfortable and safe.
