Charity Event

Sunday, 12th May, 10am-4:30pm,  The Ballygarry House Hotel, Tralee

This one day Women’s Wellbeing Charity Event will help you rest, recharge and reconnect!

We can all get caught up in the busyness of life – stuck on the treadmill of endless tasks. As women there seems to be an endless list of  ‘to do’s’ – once one is done, then the next is waiting. We tend to be time-poor and demand-rich with little time to step back and reflect on how we are doing.

Yet, taking time out to reconnect with our selves is so important to replenish and recharge ourselves. Not only so we avoid exhaustion and burn-out but so we can align with our true selves and start creating the healthy lifestyles we desire for ourselves and our families.

This is a day for women to give themselves much needed space for themselves. To leave the stress and strain behind and focus on you and how to create a lifestyle that supports and nourishes you.
Get tips, tools and strategies to take control back and sit in the driver’s seat of your life once again.  There will be a variety of talks and workshops throughout the day that will all have the shared theme of enhancing your wellbeing. Plus all proceeds go to the Irish Guide Dogs for the Blind so a win win event!

Lots of raffle prizes on the day too and goodie bags for the first 20 to register!

Some of the sessions/talks include:

  • Yoga with Dr. Ailis Brosnan
  • Essential oils with Louise Kelly
  • Qi gong with Dr. Janice Tucker
  • Homeopathy with Rebecca Atkinson
  • Vision Boards with Dr. Ailis Brosnan
  • Mindfulness meditation with Caroline Corkery Scollard
  • Smoothie Demo with Dr. Ailis BrosnanYou can also enjoy mini sessions of reflexology, hand massage, back massage and face massage! (by donation)

The day will be hosted by Dr. Ailis Brosnan

Ailis has nearly 30 years in the health and fitness industry in Ireland, UK, and the USA. She brings a holistic approach to her work and ties together many of her learnings from the fields of nutrition, spirituality, exercise, personal development, positive psychology and neuropsychology.

Ailis believes life is for living and follows her dreams wholeheartedly and is always setting challenges for herself.  She has completed an ironman triathlon (3.8km swim, 180km bike, and a marathon), run up and down Ireland’s highest mountain (Carrantouhill), swum twice around Garnish Island, and run ultra-marathon’s. In May she will be cycling from Mizen Head to Malin Head to raise funds for the Irish Guide Dogs for the Blind.  All proceeds from the event will go directly to the charity.

Ailis loves to inspire and guide other women along the way and pass on the valuable lessons from her experiences.  She is full of practical advice and wisdom and shares it with an open heart.

Give yourself the gift of health and enjoy a day out with the girls in the fabulous Ballygarry.  I hope you will join us for this enjoyable day!
